William Roe

Phenom 300 IP / Mentor

William “Bill” Roe has been involved in aviation for 23 years and has accumulated nearly 3,000 hours as an instructor and Part 141 check airman as well as a Part 142 TCE.

Bill was first type rated in the Phenom 300 in early 2011 and holds the type on his FAA and Saudi Arabian Certificates.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Science and a Master of Business Administration in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is a Fellow to the Royal Aeronautical Society in London and an avid supporter of new training technologies and their application.

Bill comes to us following a 11-year expatriate posting in the Middle East where he developed two ab-initio flight academies, developed and managed a corporate flight department as the accountable manager as well as for a Part 145 repair station. In addition, he has significant corporate jet transaction experience as a buyer, seller and lessor.

He was responsible for a fleet of Phenom 300 aircraft and has extensive experience in the type from an owner/operator perspective in addition to piloting and instructing. He has flown the Phenom 300 extensively in South America, North America, Europe, Northern Africa, and the Middle East.

He is an active pilot outside of instruction and provides crew support to a busy Part 135 Phenom 300 operator. Mr. Roe owns and operates his personal use Extra 330LX aerobatic aircraft and provides training curriculum consultation services both internationally and domestically.
